Usage To start &appname; Click system menu in desktop menu bar. Then select &imframework; from Preference menu. You can also launch &appname; by /usr/bin/imf-selector command from terminal emulator. Select and enable &imframework; Turn on Enable &imframework; check box. Choose preferred &imframework; name from Available &imframework; list then click Click OK button. Then the confirmation dialogue pops up. Click OK button on the dialogue. Configuration is saved in $HOME/.imf file to launch selected &imframework; from next desktop login. Disable &imframework; Turn off Enable &imframework; check box. Click OK button. Then the confirmation dialogue pops up. Click OK button on the dialogue. Configuration is saved in $HOME/.imf file to disable &imframework; on your desktop from next desktop login. Reset configuration to system default Click Reset button. Available &imframework; list is updated to show system default configuration. Click OK button. Then the confirmation dialogue pops up. Click OK button on the dialogue. System default configuration is saved in $HOME/.imf file to launch selected &imframework; from next desktop login. When user environment does not have $HOME/.imf file, system tries to launch &imframework; based on GTK_IM_MODULE or XMODIFIERS value on login environment. If these files and variables are not defined, the system default system configuration is used. Terminology &imframework; &imframework; is a software component that simplifies working with &im;.
